  1. I celebrate birthdays by allowing the birthday student to lead the line that day. They also have a birthday cake seat cover on their desk chair. I try to keep it simple.

  2. We love celebrating birthdays in our classroom by playing the GoNoodle Happy Birthday video! I give a crazy straw birthday balloon, and if the student brings in a small treat we will eat them during recess time! Birthdays are so fun! -Erica H.

  3. My school has moved away from birthday celebrations in the classroom because it took up instructional time and when we had treats....we had to be careful of allergies. Now I let my kids stand on a table and we all sing happy birthday to them. I also let the birthday person sit in my "throne for the day". HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

  5. We celebrate birthdays at lunch! I also give my students a card and a birthday bracelet (from really good stuff)! :) Thanks for the giveaway!!

  6. We celebrate by letting the person be the line leader. They can also bring in a birthday treat if they want to.

  7. Parents can bring items for the students. We make a birthday book and they wear a crown, put a chair cover on their chair for the day.

  8. I celebrate birthday be giving students a pencil and certificate. I also decorate their desk and chair with birthday decorations.

  10. Students may bring in treats (either snacks or non-food types) that are shared during lunch. I also give each student a coupon of their choice (no shoes day, eat in the classroom with a buddy, pick your seat, etc) and a coupon for a new book from Scholastic.

  11. Parents can bring in treats, we all sing happy birthday, and the student gets a bday certificate, pencil, and coupon of their choosing. :)
